General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Scope
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed by consumers (Section 13 of the German Civil Code) via the GreenThreads online shop (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us").
1.2 Our deliveries, services, and offers are made exclusively on the basis of these General Terms and Conditions. Conflicting or deviating terms and conditions of the buyer shall not apply unless we have expressly agreed to their validity in writing.
2. Contracting party

3. Offer and conclusion of contract
3.1 The presentation of the products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding invitation to order.
3.2 By clicking the "Buy" button, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the goods in the shopping cart. Before finally submitting the order, the customer can change and review the order details at any time.
3.3 The contract is only concluded when we accept the customer’s order by means of an order confirmation or by dispatch of the goods.
4. Prices and shipping costs
4.1 All prices quoted are final prices. Due to our small business regulations according to Section 19 of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG), they do not include VAT.
4.2 In addition to the stated prices, shipping costs may apply, which vary depending on the delivery address and the selected shipping service provider. The shipping costs will be clearly communicated to the customer before completing the order.
5. Payment
5.1 The customer can make payment via PayPal, credit card (Visa, Mastercard), Klarna Sofortüberweisung or Apple Pay.
5.2 The purchase price is due immediately upon order.
6. Delivery and shipping
6.1 Delivery shall be made to the address provided by the customer.
6.2 Delivery generally takes place within 3–5 business days, unless otherwise agreed. The customer will be informed of any deviations in delivery times on the product page or in the order confirmation.
6.3 If an item is not available, we will inform the customer immediately and refund any payments already made.
7. Return and right of withdrawal
7.1 Right of withdrawal for consumers
The customer has the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period shall be 14 days from the day on which the customer or a third party designated by him takes possession of the last goods.
7.2 Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
For individually assembled products such as our Mystery Boxes, we voluntarily grant a 14-day right of return. The customer bears the shipping costs.
7.3 Sample cancellation form
To exercise their right of withdrawal, the customer can inform us of their decision by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). The customer can use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose. Another option is the returns portal. This can be accessed under GreenThreads - Returns:

7.4 Consequences of revocation
In the event of a cancellation, we are obliged to reimburse the customer for any payments we have received from him, excluding delivery and return costs, immediately and at the latest within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation notice.
For the refund, we will use the same means of payment that the customer used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
8. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been made.
9. Liability for defects
9.1 The statutory provisions shall apply to all defects in the delivered products.
9.2 Please note that minor signs of wear are normal for used items and do not constitute defects unless they are expressly marked as such.
10. Data protection
We collect, process, and use personal data only in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. For further information, please refer to our privacy policy.
11. Special features of Mystery Boxes regarding size
11.1 For our mystery boxes, the clothing is individually selected based on the customer's specified clothing size and gender. Since this is secondhand clothing, the actual fit of individual items may differ from the size indicated on the label. We reserve the right to ship items with a label size that differs from the desired size, provided this reflects the actual wearer's comfort.
11.2 We guarantee that the actual fit of the garments corresponds to the size specified by the customer.
12. Final provisions
12.1 The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
12.2 The language available for the conclusion of the contract is German.
12.3 We do not save the contract text. You can print or save the order details immediately after placing your order.
12.4 Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by the statutory provisions. The same applies to any gaps in the provisions.
